Materials prioritised quiet, soft finishes reducing acoustic echo and creating calming sensory environment. Lighting was optimised to feel welcoming rather than clinical. Observation by trained staff indicates excellent and consistent utilisation across all intended purposes, with students reporting it as a valued safe space and intervention providers citing noticeably improved focus and measurably improved outcomes from sessions conducted in this environment.
